 FlexRadio Service and Repair

Your Complete Service and Repair Facility for all FlexRadio Products

Occasionally your FlexRadio Systems' software defined radio or accessory may need service to keep it in top performing condition.  The FlexRadio Systems Service and Repair Department provides warranty and non-warranty board level repair for all FlexRadio Systems' products.

FlexRadio Service and Repair Guidelines

Before sending in your transceiver for service, it is recommended that you review the Troubleshooting section in the appropriate User's Manual to make sure that your problem is not easily resolved.   If you still have an issue, call or e-mail the FlexRadio Technical Support and they will help determine if the problem your radio is experiencing requires service or repair.

Warranty and Non-Warranty Repairs:
Before shipping a FlexRadio product to a FlexRadio Systems authorized service center, please contact the Service and Repair Department to get an estimated time to repair and the service fees for out of warranty products.  In addition you must contact FlexRadio Systems to request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number before you return your radio for service. Please send an email to: RMA@flex-radio.com to request an RMA number.

All products being sent in for service requires that you fill out a Hardware Repair Worksheet for each product and include it in the shipping container.  You can download a copy of the worksheet by clicking on the Hardware Repair Worksheet. Make sure to include the RMA number on the Hardware Repair Worksheet.

If you do not fill out a Hardware Repair Worksheet, fail to get an RMA number and/or leave required information incomplete, this will significantly delay getting your product back to you in a timely manner.  Please be as detailed as possible in the description of your problem and/or how to reproduce it.  Also, if you have performed any modifications on out of warranty products, please describe those too in detail so that the repair technicians can better diagnose your issue.

Repair Turn Around Time:
Our current turn around time for warranty service is approximately two weeks, but please call to inquire on the actual time to repair.  Non-warranty service may take a little longer since in warranty items have priority.  Discontinued or products out of production have the lowest repair priority.  These repair turnaround times are estimates and are subject to change due to variations in work load.  Please contact the Service and Repair Department before sending in your radio to get a more accurate estimate of the time it will take to service your product.
